The contributions usually take 15 minutes. 10 minutes for the lecture and 5 minutes for discussions. A session goes without interruption over 1.5 - 2 hours with 3 - 6 speakers. Each session has at least one moderator (chair), who introduces the speakers and leads and directs the discussions as well as the questions and comments from the audience. The lectures are summarized in coordinated presentations by authors on a topic or topic area.
Your presentation should be delivered no later than 2 hours before presentation in the media check. Please follow the signposting on site. The media check is in the 1st floor, in Studio 6 (near by the registration).
As a technical equipment are available in the lecture halls and workshop rooms, a notebook and data video projector for a power Point presentation in the format 16:9 with the resolution 1920x1080 pixels (no slide projection)! Please, note that the use of own laptops is not possible. We ask all advisers kindly to deliver your data early in the media check. In the lecture halls are no media accepted. During the meeting every adviser steers his talk even by Radio Presenter, technology staff is available in the hall.

Use of Apple
We kindly ask you to make your talk compatibly to Microsoft office. For testing please go in the media check. Your presentation will be checked with the computers on site. To ensure a smooth process, we only allow you to use your own Apple MacBook in exceptional cases. Since there are different standards, the adapter is to be carried on VGA itself. Be sure to provide timely notice of your desire to use your Apple MacBook.
These often lead to presentation problems. If you can’t do without videos, please make sure that the integrated videos are copied onto the data carrier and stored in the same directory as the Lecture. Please test data carriers with integrated videos on different computers to ensure integration. One way to integrate different media into PowerPoint is the PACK & GO feature available in Microsoft PowerPoint to play presentations on other computers.
Workshops offer participants an opportunity for practical hands-on experience in a variety of techniques related to the laboratory animal field. Most workshops last three to four hours, but this may vary occasionally. Workshops have a limited number of participants, typically in a range of 10 to 50. Workshops may be organised both on-site at the conference centre, or off-site. Specific needs (rooms, equipment, transport etc.) for each accepted workshop will be discussed with the leader of the workshop. The workshop leader will work closely together with the Scientific Committee and the Organising Committee to assure that needs will be met.
Poster authors will hang up the posters on designated places for the whole duration of the meeting for the audiences' free viewing. Each author will be available on September 13, 2018 between 12.30 – 13.30 for questions. The two best posters will be selected for Poster awards based on the preparation of the abstracts and the design of the poster. The prices will be awarded on September 13,2018 (IGTP) and on September 14,2018 (GV-Solas).
The size of the poster wall is: 95 cm wide, 195 cm high.
We will suggest you Poster format: maximum DIN A0 (portrait format).
Materials to fix the poster on the poster wall will be provided on site.
The poster exhibition takes place at the Galleries of the Studio 1 and 2 (where takes place the industrial exhibition).
Please remove your poster at the dates and times mentioned above. All posters that were not removed at the mentioned times will be disposed.
